Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Soul Stroll! We couldn’t do it without you. Please read all of the important dates and requirements below before filling out a volunteer application. Thank you!

Wed. April 23: Sign up for shift to receive a discount ticket code available to use until April 26
Sat. April 26: Purchase Soul Stroll ticket to receive discount with code. Sign volunteer agreement.
Sat. May 3: Soul Stroll Volunteer Orientation
Fri. May 16: BACHAC 30th Anniversary event
Sat. May 17: Soul Stroll event
What is an individual student volunteer?
Individual student volunteers are those who are students requesting volunteer hours to fulfill course/academic credit or service hours.
STUDENT ELIGIBILITY: Must be at least 15 years old attending an accredited high school, college or adult school program.
Please complete the online request form to be a student volunteer. Then sign up for a volunteer shift.
Ticket fee waiver is limited to the first 10 eligible students who complete the request form. Other students receive discount code. After completing the request form, you will be informed if you are eligible for either fee waiver or discount.

Friday May 16 | BACHAC 30th Anniversary event
Saturday May 17 | Soul Stroll event
What are the requirements for individual student volunteers?
Complete the online request form by Monday April 21. You must provide verification that your volunteer hours are for academic credit or community service hours.
Meet physical, mobile, and/or lifting requirements needed for the position.
Sign up for a shift by Wednesday April 23 to receive a ticket fee waiver code or discount ticket code for May 17th Soul Stroll event.
Complete ticket registration with fee waiver code or purchase ticket discount code by Saturday April 26. Those who do not meet this deadline will pay the regular ticket fee.
Sign the volunteer agreement by Saturday April 26. 17 years and younger must have parent/guardian sign.
Wear the BACHAC Volunteer t-shirt during shift on Saturday May 17.
What are the expectations for individual student volunteers?
Communicate in advance with the Volunteer Coordinator about the requirements for your volunteer service and what is needed to verify your hours completed.
Check-in for your shift at least 15 minutes in advance with the Volunteer Coordinator.
Plan to work for the entirety of your shift.
Check emails or phone messages for updates.
Notify Volunteer Coordinator if you must cancel your shift.
Be familiar with general event operations, emergency procedures, volunteer conduct and guidelines.
Attend the Soul Stroll Volunteer Orientation on Saturday May 3. Please read orientation information.

BACHAC shout out to volunteers at Soul Stroll and after the event.
Ticket fee waived for the first 10 eligible students until April 26. After first 10 students, ticket fee discount of $25 available until April 26. $5 savings from $30 regular fee, volunteer coupon code required.
2 t-shirts per volunteer: BACHAC volunteer shirt & commemorative Soul Stroll 30th anniversary shirt.
1 breakfast snack, 1 box lunch, and 1 free event parking space per volunteer.
BACHAC will verify your volunteer hours.
